Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998꧂, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

In 2022, the total amount of domestic waste cleared and transported in the whole district reached 845,400 tons, including 1,259 tons of dry waste daily disposal, 598 tons of wet waste daily separation (including food and kitchen waste), 459 tons of recyclable materials daily recovery, 0.09 tons of hazardous waste daily collection and transportation, 42.7% of domestic waste recycling rate, and the rate of reaching the standard by classification of village residents and units kept stable above 95%. The entire process system was further improved, including the completion of three demonstration transfer stations for recyclable materials, a total of 89 intelligent bins for recyclable materials, the installation of intelligent monitoring equipment at 303 classified placement points, the completion of 3,290 sets of road and shopping mall waste bin opening renovations, and the implementation of subdivision and upgrading of recyclable material containers in 17 public places. The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste 📖Disposal Expansion Project, of which construction progress was the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai. The “One Network Unified Management” domestic waste management platform was completed and started launching.

In 2022, the total industrial output value of the electronic information industry reached 209.185-billion-yuan, accounting for 46.5% of the district’s industrial output value above the designated scale. In the whole year, the computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry realized 7.787 billion yuan of fixed asset investment, accounting for 44.7% of the district’s industrial fixed asset investment. Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone was officially awarded by the municipal leaders. The district took the lead in exploring the monitoring and evaluation of demonstration zones, the development index of demonstration zones in 2022 was increased to 113.37 points (based on 2021, with a score of 100 points). The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2022 ranked third in Shanghai. Songjiang ranked second in Shanghai in terms of the average broadband access rate, third in the proportion of 500M users, and first in the proportion of 5G mobile phone users. 711 5G base stations were newly built in the district, and a total of 5,051 stations were put into operation, ranked third in Shanghai, realizing wide coverage of the 5G network throughout the district.
By leveraging the energy-gathering capabilities of leading industrial internet platforms such as COSMOPlat, Yonyou Jingzhi, and ICkey, more than 300 🍨professional service providers, network security suppliers, and intelligent hardware enterprises from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain have been gathered, forming an initial industrial cluster. Focusing on the extension of the industrial chain and ecological construction, 22 joint laboratories/professional research institutions, 14 innovation centers, 6 national public service platforms, and 4 data centers for the industrial ✤internet were introduced and built in the district.

In 2022, there were 24 elderly care institutions and 9 elder care homes, the total number of beds reached 9,300, including 9,021 beds in nursing homes and 279 beds in elder care homes. There were 23 comprehensive elderly service centers, 45 elderly day care centers, 120 elderly catering stations, 356 standardized elderly activity rooms, and 236 community neighborly stations. Home-based elderly care services were provided to 4,736 subsidy recipients. 1,516 volunteers provided family mutual assistance and care services to 8,000 elderly individuals living alone. In 2022, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 8.143 billion yuan, down by 35.6% over the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 10.1368 million, down by 38.6% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 ꦅmillion guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. The main body is composed of 2 layers above the surface and 15 layers 88 meters below the surface, which makes the world amazed. The hotel is located at the Tianma Hill quarry near Sheshan Hill, 32 kilometers away f✨rom Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, also adjacent to Sheshan National Forest Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden, and other tourist attractions.     佘山發達一個政府深🐟林地圖文化樂園是北京唯一性的發達一個省市級那自然山嶺景地，生產規模267平方公里數，自然風地方呢深林地圖蓋住率到達80.04%。苑區十三座壯麗山峰就像十三顆粗細不一的裴翠從中南趨于東北三省，逶迤連綿13公里數，使一馬平川的北京平原地帶產生出秀靈多姿的山嶺景觀規劃。199五年6月，由原發達一個ꦗ政府造林部批準書建立起佘山發達一個政府深林地圖文化樂園，200一年評為為發達一個政府試點4A級休閑旅游自然風地方呢。現正式開花的地方呢有：東佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小南通園。
Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. 🐻The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the sc⛎enic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    蘇州辰山藤本森林公園
     Shanghai Ch🍒enshan Botanical Garden
    成都辰山綠植的園坐落松江區佘山地方旅游行業休閑度假區內（辰花公路交通38811號），是市政工程施工府、中國大科學技術院和地方林草局合作協議雙擁共建的集科技創新、簡單講解和欣賞觀光于集成的標準化性綠植的園，征地賠償占地面207平方公里,是豫東地方產值非常大的綠植的園。綠植的園里的辰山古古跡，201幾年4月被市政工程施工府入選為成都市古物庇護組織。該古跡09年初會發現，占地面約為16平方公里，最初始區分為商周時間段古語化古跡。
工業園區由中動態展示室、蕨類動綠色樹木保育區、三大洲蕨類動綠色樹木區和外場保護區等四個大功能鍵區組合而成。展品溫室展品建筑面積為12608平小米，由熱帶氣候花果館、沙生蕨類動綠色樹木館和珍奇蕨類動綠色樹木館組成了，為大洋洲上限展品溫室群，當中沙ඣ生蕨類動綠色樹木館為生活上限棚內沙生蕨類動綠色樹木紀念館。現為國家的4A級景區。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botan൩y Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    蘇州方塔園
 &ensp𒁃;   🐬Shanghai Square Pagoda Park
上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang💟 Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-l🅺evel scenic spot.

    東莞醉白池游樂園
 &en♑sp;   Shangha🉐i Zuibaichi Park
    醉白池是西安九大復古景觀一個，土地征用76畝。四園有兩個地方不🌺容可移動中國文化遺產，中間：醉白池，2015年4月被道路工程府每天為西安市中國文化遺產守護機關工作單位；雕刻圖案廳，1985年8月被每天為松江縣中國文化遺產守護機關工作單位。景觀出自于北宋松江進士朱之純的私居家風水院，名“谷陽園”。后為明朝大書名畫家家董其昌觴詠處，也是名星文學士常游的地方。🅷清順康年間，工部郎中、文人、名畫家顧大申重加建蓋，因崇敬唐大文人白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上景觀重命名為“醉白池”，到現在為止原有370常年史上。四園現永久保存著北宋的西武百貨軒，明朝的四邊廳、疑舫、上學堂，漢代池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、雕刻圖案廳等亭臺樓榭樓閣；拍品有元趙孟頫毛筆書法真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、漢代《云間邦彥畫像圖片》碑刻等美術史瑰寶。四園掛在的當代毛筆書法名人題字匾聯體現了不計入其數。現為地方4A級旅游點。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” 🌺because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving H♑all of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林技術 遺存
    Gu🎀angfulin Site of Ancient Culture
    廣富林傳統藝術遺存應用于松江都市東北部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，一整塊工業區的范圍達標850畝，2019年評為為4A級休閑旅游活動景區，同歲榮獲杭州市旅游產業活動休閑旅游活動獨具特色演示區域內。是當下經考古學家發現了的杭州29處遺存中其中包含介紹最豐富的,最具保養的與發掘價值觀的古傳統藝術遺存。廣富林傳統藝術遺存197八年被發布為杭州市水資源保護區好保養保養的點；于2013 年三月份被財政部審核為七批在國內水資源保護區好保養保養的部門；知也橋，20161月份被發布為松江區水資源保護區好保養保養的點。
廣富林人文精神古跡以考古學家古跡防護好區為基本，對古古跡給以原本態防護好和呈，展現出出農作環保圈人文精神，展現出正宗的庭園美麗風景。融洽的人文精神積淀是廣富林項意圖基本寡頭壟斷力, 整體開發區建設規劃方案了好幾個遍區，東西北是儒道佛人文精神展現出區，東部是行業匹配產品區，西北是風俗人文精神展現出區，北邊是新出土藏品展現出區，中間是農作人文精神防護好區。與松江府城、倉城、泗涇古鎮等發展人文精神生態風貌區相映襯,形成滬上“深度的人文精神尋根心靈之🧔旅”的意圖地之三。
Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is planned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk culture exhibition area, the northern part is the unearthed cultural re꧅lics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

    廣富林郊野家里坐落于佘山國家地區樹叢家里南側，鄰近廣富林古文化古跡。
    廣富林郊野兒童公園緊緊圍繞“田、水、路、林、村”七大基本點元素建沒，以耕作園林自然是園林景觀為根本，由農園采栽、果林得意、ℱ濕地生態系統漁村四大股票板塊根據，并按區快有油菜花海花田、綠野閑蹤、原始林氧吧、老來青稻田、稻香閑影等11個地區，另外給予學歷展會、采栽釣魚、觀景才能等作用，建立綜合管理郊野游憩區。
Guangfulin Country Park is located on the south side of Sheshan National Forest Park, next to the Guangfulin Cultural Site.
Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. It is supplemented by cultural exhibitions, RV camping, fruit picking, fishing, and ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚsightseeing walks, which become a comprehensive country recreation area.

Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xiet🔯ang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical Rive📖r” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

    &ens💙p;🦄Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經✨幢”，在松江區中蘭州 路西司弄43號中山中心小學學校內，建于唐大中13年（859年），198八年7月被國家公開為在國內重大文化遺產確保政府部門，是沈陽位置迄今最最原始的地面磁磚房屋建筑。經幢才質為制作石灰巖，迄今21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，印有《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，同時建幢銘。地方黨委差別以托座、束腰、圓柱體、華蓋、腰檐等表現形式疊成態度雅致的經幢，每級大一部分作八角形，雕塑雅致，有沽🐲島的海紋、寶相蓮花、卷云、力士、帝王、觀音、滿足人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故統稱為八棱碑，稱做“唐經幢”，別稱“石塔”。
The Su✱tra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural reli🍃cs protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

     Dacang Bridge
    大倉橋處于永豐社區服務中心中四川路倉橋弄南，201四年4月被對外公布為重慶市文化遺產自我保護基層單位，是一種座高10余米ಌ，未能50余米的五孔拱式大石橋。橋本名永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故別名大倉橋。現為重慶區縣最牛的明清大石橋之1。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Y♐ongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge sp🦋ans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

  &ens🅘p; 松江清真寺屬于岳陽的大街上街道橋居委會缸甏巷75號，1980年3月被發布文章為深圳市珍貴文物保障基層單位，是深圳東南部最久的伊斯蘭教佛教寺廟，創建于元至正車間（1342年—1367年），初名真教寺。古代末期通過屢次翻修和續建，從而，在現在的清真寺既包含元代末期的工程房屋的風格，又有古代隔代的工程房屋蘇州特色文化。方工程房屋有個殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北講學堂，邦克門等，這當中窯殿和邦克門某處最具該寺工程房屋蘇州特色文化。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368🃏, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.

     Xilin Temple
&en🗹sp;   西林禪寺，名叫“西林精舍”，名叫崇恩寺，隸屬于松江區中林中路6610號，初建于唐咸通13年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），至今多余1150多年史上，是松江區佛經醫學會的之處地，為濟南佛經前十名從林之五。明洪武第二20年（13810年）改造，明正統英宗女皇帝敕封“西林大宋禪寺”。宮殿后下有塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉第一個代祖師圓應居士舍利，熟稱“西林塔”，1982年2月被出爐為濟南市藏品維護院校。塔身七層八面，磚木設計，塔高46.5米，至今仍為濟南城市最大且窖藏藏品總共的一尊古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than ꧋1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
